Angeli Aetherii is the premier Republic PvP guild for the Bioware MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic. We are an adult-oriented guild originally founded by close friends and family back in the old days of Star Wars Galaxies. Over the past eight years we have formed many more relationships and alliances while inhabiting many online worlds.
We are "casual, but serious". What does this mean? It means we are a laid back group of adults who enjoy adventuring together, being social, respecting each other and others around us while taking our playtime seriously. We don't have time for drama or immaturity and we value the image our guild portrays in the eyes of others. We want to be known as the guild to go to when you want to explore all aspects of the game and be around people who will respect and support you.
Guild Ranks and Delegations
We have an extremely exciting guild rank structure that will likely blow your boots off with it's complexity!
Member > Officer > Guild Leader
Yes, we like to keep it simple. We have delegations to members who are part of our guild for a certain period of time, but outside of that it is really just three ranks. Why make things complicated?
Your Role in Angeli Aetherii
This is very simple. Basically, act like an adult and don't hide behind internet anonymity.
We want you to participate in the guild, not just have the tag under your name. Speak up in chat, hop on TeamSpeak for organized raiding or PvP when possible, participate in our forums, and even join us on Facebook if you'd like. Basically, socialize with the guild. Become a part of our community both in and out of game.
Guild Rules and Policies
Angeli Aetherii has always prided itself on maintaining a respectful, mature, and fun image in whatever game we're playing at the moment. Our intent is to be the guild that is loved by the Republic at large and [respectfully] hated by the Empire.
In order to achieve the above, all guild members are expected to abide by the following rules and policies.
Members are expected to socialize while in-game, either via in-game chat or voice chat.
Voice chat (currently TeamSpeak 3) is required for raiding or mass-organized PvP at least for listening.
Be respectful and helpful to others, especially your guildmates. Take any disagreements offline.
Adult language must be kept to a minimum in guild chat as there are at times minors playing with their parents. There is no restriction in voice chat outside the "Rated E for Everyone" channel.
Religious and political discussions in guild chat or voice chat are not allowed.
Members are expected to participate on the website as events and polls will take place there often.
Members are expected to make this their primary guild (sole guild preferred).
Griefing or harassment of any form is not tolerated and will be dealt with by immediate removal!
Constant grouping or raiding with non-guildmates when there are some available will not be tolerated!
Be respectful to role-players and do not purposely interrupt their RP sessions, even if grouped with them. NOTE: RP sessions in open world PvP areas are fair play for disruption, but please be aware of the Griefing and Harassment rule.
Imperials are shot on sight!
Lastly, if you are going to be inactive for a long period of time or are leaving the game, please inform an officer or another member who can. Any members inactive for over 14 days who have not informed an officer of a pending long-term absence will be removed from the guild. We do this to maintain an active guild roster. We are not about numbers, we are about participation.
Should a guild member who was removed for inactivity come back to the game, they are more than welcome back into the guild at any time.
Frequently Asked Questions
What server is the guild located on?
Jung Ma, RP-PvP East Coast server.
Whoa! Are you guys a role-playing guild?
No! We are not a role-playing guild. We enjoy the maturity level of those servers compared to other servers, especially in PvP. Also, they usually foster the best and most helpful communities both in-game and out.
Do you have any time zone restrictions?
Absolutely not! We currently have members from coast to coast in the US, and even a few in Europe and Australia. Please note, since we will be joining an East Coast server, organized events and grouping are optimal for EST nights.
Do you have any class restrictions?
We have no class restrictions and never will.
Do you have any age restrictions?
While we make exceptions from time to time, we recommend that guild members must be at least 21 years of age. The use of adult language and conversation will usually find its way into any means of communication we use.
Do you have any level restrictions?
While we will never have level restrictions, you might not find many guild members in your level range. Speak to an officer about this while applying.
Do you allow alts in the guild?
Of course!
Do you use Ventrilo or TeamSpeak?
We have a TeamSpeak 3 server with a very high capacity.
What is the primary focus of this guild?
We have no primary focus -- we basically do a bit of everything. We have people who are passionate about all kinds of different areas of a game.
